 Continue with your friendship and nothing more for now. Girls have different emotions from boys and they are more mature than boys (especially boys and girls of your age). If you try to get closer then trust me... he'll bolt! You'll scare him off big style. You need to wait a lot longer before he catches up with you emotionally I'm afraid. It's all just a part of growing up.
Don't risk ruining what you already have.
