I really think that im in love with a friend of mine. We talk ALL the time, make each other laugh and we are really close. I told him that i liked him as more then a friend and asked if he liked me in the same way but he said that he wasn't sure wich im sure means that he probably doesn't. His best friend told me a couple of days later though that my crush told him that he still fancies his ex who happens to be a close friend of mine and who dumped him a month or two back. She still likes him aswell and although he knows that she still likes him they are not going out yet and he still continues to talk to me all the time. he also still continues to flirt with me and is always the first one to say hello to me. We dont go to the same school and his ex goes to my school. I really like him A LOT and i just need some advice. can anyone help please? xx

petina1 agony auntHe will probably end up back with his ex as they still like each other. You may just be there to make him feel better about himself until that time. If he's had a girlfriend before then he will not be afraid to have one again so maybe you just need to hold on a while and see if he asks you. If he's not over his ex and you are with him, then y ou will be the one to get hurt if he takes her back, so be careful. It's early days yet. In the meantime enjoy the friendship and then he will see what a great girl you are.
