 no need to delete his number. just act normal tomorrow, don't be shitty with him coz that will just ruin everything between you. there could be loads of reasons why he has not replied, maybe he did not even get your text, it CAN happen. some people are not really interested in texting so maybe that's why he does not initiate. what you have to bear in mind though is would you want to have a relationship with a guy who does not bother to text much??
stop chasing him but still remain nice and friendly, see what happens when you leave work (although i am not sure why he is insisting on waiting until you leave before he will go out with you - if he thought you were 'all that' he would not want to wait would he.
if it isn't meant to be, it isn't meant to be. there are more men in the world, not just this one, so don't feel bad
