 It's an encouragement for the future that someone that you liked returned your feelings, and if in a few years time the feelings are still there then go for it but for now you are only 13 therefore any boyfriend you do get involved with should only really be on a friends basis due to your age so I wouldn't cut him off completely but making a friendship from him would be the best option and you may find is the best thing for you both.

 Im 14 and went out with a 17 year old. It lasted 2 weeks before he dumped me. You can give it ago if you really want to but be advised if he isnt too kean on the idea it isnt likely to go far. Sorry but maybe its worth a try anyway. Up to you.
