writes: I really like my best friend's brother. my best friend knows and encourages it, and i've made it pretty clear that i like him to him. the problem is, whenever i see him, i just turn into a coward! and he doesnt help either, because he's one of those guys who is afraid to show his feelings because he's afraid others will find out and pick on him, although i've been told many times by his sis that he likes me, and when she asked him if he liked me, he turned red, smirked, and told her, "I'm not talking to you!" well, i just want to know how to not freeze up when i'm near him and how to get him to get over his fear so he can start showing me that he likes me! thanks!

Ask him some questions to get him to talk to you. Ask him to play a game of scrabble (or whateve you think he knows). You can get the info from his brother. Always kiss him good night.

hey he's funny. but then, i think there's something for the two of you there. i'll tell you something, you can try this out. make a little friendship with him, or ask your friend and go out with her and her brother. try speaking to him in your friend's presence about, well, what he's up to, or how the day's been for him and so on. once you are more comfortable with him this way, you wont face the problem of gettin' tongue-tied again.cheers!!!!!!!!!!
