writes:I discovered long ago that I'm only attracted to women who keep themselves "all-natural" or at least remain very hairy below the belt. In the past I dated women like this and I never had a problem meeting women who cherished their natural hair growth. Today it's different. Women seem to think I'm a freak when I tell them I admire natural going women. Some won't even admit that they can grow pubic hair. I'm tired of losing girlfriend after girlfriend just because today's women won't accept female body hair. I want a mature minded lady in my life who is ok with her female body hair. How can I meet a woman like this and where can I find her? I've completely given up on trying to change anyone's mind about female body hair and know for certain my mind won't change to begin liking today's smooth, hairless women.

reader, anonymous, writes (11 May 2008): I agree that it's unfortunate that so many young women have been brainwashed by the fashion industry into thinking pubic hair is dirty or gross. To me women with a hairless pubic area look like giant four-year-olds and those little shaved patches resembling Hitler's mustache are even more ludicrous. But if you look hard enough, you should be able to find a woman independent enough to resist this creepy trend (if not, I have heard that natural pubes are making a comeback).

reader, anonymous, writes (11 April 2008): Go to Austin, Texas. You'll find lot's of pretty, natural pubed women. Hippie, new age/pagan, activist, not to mention these quintessentially Austin hippieish/country girls that are difficult describe. They often dress like Sheryl Crow, and tend to be outdoorsy: you can recognize them by their real (as opposed to tanning bed) tans.
From what I've heard, many of the more hippieish cities in the Pacific Northwest have lots of natural women.
My experiences haven't been as extreme as yours, but I understand your frustration. Still single at 32, I'm just the right age to have observed first hand the rapid switch from a norm of landing strips and trimmed triangles to full shaving. Now you have people talking about Vanessa Hudgens' "full bush" in her nude photo, while I see something fairly trimmed down and normal by 1995 standards.

 I'm afraid that the issue here is that you want them not to shave. And, whether we like it or not, that is for her to decide. I guess that in a way this is something like your (head) hairdo: you might like women with, say, long hair, but you can't tell them not to cut it short.
Also, I assume that you do look at all the other good and bad points in your women. I don't think pubic hair should be the one criterion to meet. Maybe that's not what you mean, but that's what your post suggests.
I suppose your woman will come your way. I'm not sure if there's a specific place where you can find women who don't shave their pubic hair. Maybe if you travel to a country where shaving is not so much in fashion? Europe, as a poster suggested?

Believe it or not my boyfriend used to shave his chest hair etc etc when I met him but boy oh boy was it prickly I hated it! So I said that it was uncomfy and I would love to see his chest hair so guess what he grew it and it is now lovely to nestle in. Anyway my point is when you say what you find attractive the right woman will consider this in pleasing you and maybe there is a compromise whereby they ensure the 'garden' is neat and tidy but not necessarily shaved or waxed to within an inch.

Ah hah! I see you live in the US! Before I saw that, I thought, he's got to be exaggerating.
You are really, really, not a freak. In fact, on the contrary, since the fashion for waxing returns women to a pre-pubescent appearance, and it's quite worrying that adult men are being expected to find this normal or desirable.
You could move to the UK, where female attitudes towards extreme waxing seem generally more relaxed (even if they do it, they laugh at it/and or complain about the pain). Or nearer home you could find a healthy, probably veggie, probably community minded, possibly activist orientated lass on whom the fashion industry has less effect. That kind of person would celebrate your healthy attitude!
But don't get pushed into making it a fetish, it's not.

Cant tell you how fed up I get reading articles aimed at making women feel dirty, and somehow strange if they dont remove all traces of pubic hair. My ex loved me to be natural and I wouldn't want to look pubescent or like a porn star.
There still are some of us out there but we are being conditioned to think all men want us shaved, I suspect age might come into it too. Young girls are reading this in mags everyday

 I see where youre coming from, its just that sometimes shaved feels cleaner and neater. right now I'm sort of in between with a small square of trimmed hair. I'm shocked that all the women you're coming across are completely hairless! they must be some really hot girls if you don't mind me saying.
at my gym I see lots of bushes on the women who shower XD
but more to the point i think you can only advise someone on their pubic hair if youre dating properly, otherwise its a bit too personal. I never liked guys who kept nagging me to shave it every day so I can see that even if a guy is telling you to grow it - it might be a bit annoying. its like if a girl told you to shave your balls and chest you might be a bit like ''what the hell?''
I reckon you can either try and accept the hairless ones and try and enjoy them - cause does the hair really make a difference to the actual sex act?
or you can try and find a woman who keeps a bush =P
you should find ways of guessing - by looking at a girl you can sort of guess if she 'shaves' or not.
for example a tanned, toned blonde girl is more likely to be shaved than a curvy, curly-haired woman who dresses like a gypsy lol
I dunno...
finding someone with the same sex preferances as you is always hard... i know this... =) gurd luck! x
