writes:Hello,I plan on proposing to my girlfriend, she knows i want to marry her as we have talked openly about it, but she dosent know when im going to ask her. she is away at college at the moment and has been begging me for a puppy, so i plan on buying her a puppy and surprising her with it when she comes home on break, and i was thinking of buying her a engagement ring and putting the ring on the puppy's collar and when she sees it i will ask her.What do you think?  I think it is an adorable idea. You dont have to get all creative and cute though to make a marriage proposal. Just a sincere proposal will do it really. But your idea makes it a bit more fun! Good luck and let us know how it goes!

Take her to the place where you first dated and maybe talk about the different stages your relationship has known and how from every step to the next it made you feel fulfilled and happy, etcetera. Kiss her hand then offer the ring.
Much simpler. That is my preference, anyway.

 That is so cute!!! Go for it!! If I was in her posotion I would think it was the best thing, think about it, she gets a puppy, AND she gets to be engaged to a man she loves!! Kudos for such a great idea

I think that this is a really romantic idea.Get a ring saying i love you and put a puppy in a box with the ring around his collar with a note in the box or on the box saying will you marry me maybe write it at the bottom of the box so when she picks up the puppy she will see the message and hey two suprises.Good luck and let me know how it turns it out ... email me x
