Hey :)

well basically, I find guys who are older than me very attractive and they are the people i normally develop feelings for. For example, I am 16 and I have "liked" guys of ages, 18,21,24.

But recently, about 2 months ago I got talking to a boy who is younger than me. A year and 5 months younger than me. At first it was just harmless friendly chats but its developed now into him apparently "loving" me and wanting to be with me. I find him attractive, which is odd for me, and he has a very caring and lovely personality and hes one of those people you love speaking to everyday. We have talked about meeting up in private and things, but Im scared he will eventually want more of me,and I dont feel I would be comfortable "dating" a boy that much younger than me. I'm quite confused as to what to do, as I dont want to just quit talking to him because hes so nice. Any advice would be much appreciated

xxxxxxx

So_Very_Confused agony auntI think you should be friends with him and leave it open for later on to see if your feelings change.

it's true that a gap of 15/17 is a big gap but a gap of 19/21 is not.. and then you get older and older and a gap of 10 years or more does not matter. My boyfriend is 13 YEARS younger than I am.

Just make it clear to him of where your comfort lies... and let him know where you stand that's only fair.

and know there is nothing wrong with liking younger partners...

I would say go for it 17 months may seem a lot to you at the minute but that is nothing to be honest I would meet up with him not as a date or anything just hang out a few times and see how things develop between you
