writes:My boyfriend is 37 and I am 27. My parents dont like him. But the real problem is for the last 4 weeks I have not seen him. He says he loves me and everything but I may not hear from him for days. Then when I do hear from him it is because I am calling him. He says it is because he is so busy. He does work a full time job then has a business on the side. So he is always working if he does take off it is cause he is tired, or hurting or something like that? If I do see him it is also after 6 at night, cause he is working until then. I care about him and all but I also care about myself, and I am feeling really under appreciated. I kind of feel like money means more then me.

 Four weeks? I know a guy serving in Afghanistan and he still finds time to call his girlfriend. If someone in a war zone can do it, I'm not sure your boyfriend can use work as a valid excuse.

 How did you two meet up in the first place? You might need to go back to that point in your lives and remind him of that too. He's goal oriented, which is why he's a workaholic. Owning a business is also one of the most all-inclusive things he can do.
You could also offer to assist in his side business and become part of his goals!
