A female United Kingdom age 26-29, anonymous writes:

Me and my ex split up in august 2010 and we was together for 16 months. We split up as I found out he cheated on me.

I'm always hanging out with my girl friends to try and take my mind off him, and everything that happened but it doesnt work. I try to thing of all the bad things that happened and the reason we split, and that doesnt happen because all the good things that i miss come back.

I really need to get over him and move on because its stopping me from trying to find someone else, i hate feeling like this. I need to move on, i just cant. Help?!

A female reader, aunt honesty Ireland +, writes (24 April 2011):

aunt honesty agony auntHave you deleted all of his contact details? Ignore him completely? Have you threw out everything that reminds you of him? Look at the end of the day he wanted another girl over you, therefore he didnt care about you or how it would make you feel. He just cared about his own feelings and didnt care about you at all. Yes it is harsh but thats what he done and you need to see that. You cant keep longing for something that was based on a lie. He convinced you that you where both happy but he obviously wasnt. You need to remove him from your life. You should be angry with him. Do you think he is still getting over you? No he aint he is out trying other girls and not giving you a second thought so dont satisfy him by thinking about him. He is not worth it.
