I need some pointers, on how to get over an inferiority complex?

A female Canada age 30-35, *peedyCakey writes:

I have a crush on this guy in my class, and I'm not ready to confess to him or anything, but the thing is...

I think he is REALLY high above me.

As in, he's way smarter than me, can do everything better than me, etc. and it makes me feel like I don't deserve him.

Any advice on what to do?

molly4 agony auntOkay, well I think this is more about you than this guy. You need to realize that you are a person, you have every right to be happy and successful just like he does. If you keep thinking that he is so high above you he will be forever out of reach and your self esteem will plunge. Perhaps you should make a list of things you are good at, things that make you unique, things that are interesting about you. Self confidence will make you much happier, and more attractive to 'prospective mates'. :)
