I fell for him pretty much straight away but after about 5 months my parents decided they didn't like him and I was forced to break up with him. For years down the line I still think about every second of the day and sometimes I feel so depressed that I just sit and cry for hours. I really want him back and I can't take missing him this much any more. I need some advice. What can I do?anon

Four years is a long time so you need to make sure you don't come on too strong, you may have to build it up from friendship he might have been hurt from the sudden break up you had.
You also need to tell your parents that no matter what they think it will not change your feelings for him.
From what ur age on here is you were 12-13 when you were going out and back then you might have felt your parents had a right to have more control over you because you were younger but now four years on you may want more freedom, you have to tell your parents this.
With both your parents and the boy you have to consider their feelings aswell when you talk to them.
