Question - (14 March 2010) 1 Answers - (Newest, 15 March 2010)
A male United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Me and my girlfriend, both 15, are always talking but we can never figure out what to talk about. We always end up saying so, but it gets boring after a while. We are both quiet people but I have little to none social skills. Any ideas what I can do to make it where we can talk about more things or to make it where I have more social skills to actually think of things to say?

A male reader, Kenj United Kingdom +, writes (15 March 2010):

Kenj agony auntSorry to say but without communication its not going to last.

There are loads of things to talk about. Her, You, Hobbies, Pets & Animals, TV & Movies, Weather, Future Plans & Ambition, Travel & Holidays, Work / School, Education, Exams, History, Culture, Art to name a few subjects.

You dont have to be talking all the time, some silence is good. Get a good balance of talking, listening and quiet time.

Good luck!
