I need a bit of a breather but don't want him to think I don't care!

My boyfriend and I have been seeing each other for 3 months and probably been officially together for about a month if that. Last week I had some holiday from work and I ended up meeting his family. Everything was perfect and we acknowledged to each other that our feelings were really strong etc etc. The rest of my time off I have spent every day and night with him, bar 2 days. I've asked him this week if he fancies doing something before this weekend (because he's going away this weekend) and he's said he'll let me know. (He does live quite far away) I've suggested we have a bit of a break this week but haven't had any response. I don't wanna come on too strong after meeting the family and staying with him last week but don't want to act like i don't care. Last week was nice but we need a breather. Any advice at all?? Thanks!! xxxxx
