I miss being friends with my ex.

I had asked a similar question yesterday and received no answers.

I ask again.

I have had problems with my ex while we were dating, he was very bipolar, had a lot of anger, but I could always work around that. It was the thought of him cheating and his selfishness that broke us up.

My friends told me that I was better off without him, so everytime he texted me I'd ignore it. I feel terrible about it, and I miss talking to him. Should I text him again? And just say I lost his number?

I had forgot to mention. I've been ignoring him for 4 months. I strictly just want to be friends again. Like, we broke up last year, and we were friends up until I started ignoring him. I just miss talking to him. No relationship involved.

Yeah, you should do that. But be honest, your friends told you to ignore it and you didn't know better, it's not a problem. There's no reason why he wouldn't wanna talk to you.

it is hard to move on but continuing to text and make contact with your ex may just bring nack feelings that you still havent let go of, it is a little harsh to completely ignore him so it may be an idea to tell him that its difficult to be friends but you wish him well in everything
