But it is barely there and i only have spotting when i use the washroom or a little through out the day. However I have been completely sick to my stomach and have trouble eating. Seven weeks ago I had unprotected sex but he did pull out. I dont know if im just stressed out and my period is just lasting because it was late or if i could be pregnant? A friend of mine also suggested that i could be having a miscarriage. Im also a heavy smoker, weekend drinker, and drug user on a regular basis. I dont know what to do.

first things first, get down to your doctor and get a test done. if you are pregnant you must stop smoking, drinking and taking drugs. these will harm your baby not to mention what effect they have on your body. once the doctor has confirmed whether you are pregnant or not then you can decide what to do. i had a child when i was 16 and found it really difficult but i dont regret it. however if you decide to keep the baby if you are pregnant the drug abuse etc needs to stop!

Hi Anon,
You should really go to your doctor to find out if you're pregnant or not. (The home tests are very accurate, too, if you want to do that first and then have it confirmed by your doctor.) If it turns out that you are pregnant, then you could tell your doctor what has been going on and ask for advice.
You may be pregnant judging from your post. A lot of times women have spotting during the first trimester of pregnancy. This is usually caused from implantation bleeding when the sac attaches itself to your uterus, thus creating a bit of bleeding (usually pinkish or brown blood). Many times women spot during pregnancy, too, because their bodies are getting rid of old blood since it isn't good for the fetus. If you haven't experienced a regular period, maybe this is what is happenening.
If you are having a miscarriage, you might need to have a dilation and curettage (d and c) done so that everything is totally cleaned out. There are times, though, when women don't have to have this procedure done if it's early in the pregnancy - the body just cleans itself out. If you get your blood tested to find out the HCG levels (a hormone the fertilized egg produces) and the number is going down regularly, then you might not have to get a d and c.
If you are pregnant, then you really need to talk to your doctor about your drinking, smoking, etc to see what he/she recommends. But I really think you should talk to your doctor or ob/gyn asap!! Then you will know for sure what is going on and how to move on from this point.
Take care.
