I might be pregnant. I'm looking for herbal ways to induce a miscarriage.

A female United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

My boyfriend and I recently had unprotected sex and i am 3 days late for my period. I do not know if I am actually pregnant yet, but we can not afford a child or a pregnancy right now. I have been looking on line for herbal ways to induce a misscarriage. I have heard a lot about taking vitamin c to make the lining of the uterus slipery, I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this, or if you knew anything else that might work.

Thank you

Tisha-1 agony auntHi, I think that if there were a tried and true herbal method for inducing a miscarriage, every woman would know about it. I think this is a very risky way of handling this situation, as things may backfire on you, and you might suffer some health consequences as a result. I mean, think about it. You take something that induces a miscarriage? How can that be safe for your system?

I suggest you visit plannedparenthood.org to find a local low-cost or free clinic near you, so that you can discuss your options with a medical professional. After all, you might not be pregnant. Buy a home pregnancy test and make sure before you do anything!

Take care.

The morning after pill only works maximum 96 hours after the unprotected sex. It's not going to induce a miscarriage.

My suggestion is to head to a doctor, find out if you're really pregnant, and discuss your options. If you are pregnant and don't want to keep the child, the earlier you get the abortion, the less stress it causes your body.

With herbal remedies, it's hard to tell what does/doesn't work for various ailments since they're not regulated by the FDA. I would stick with the science we know in medicine.

Good luck to you - and use a condom next time!

All i can say is find out if your pregnant, if you are see a real doctor not a quack, if your not refrain from sex til you grow up mentally

You just need emergency morning-after contraception.

Go get it right now. You've made your decision already. There's nothing any more "pure" or "natural" or "moral" about preventing/terminating a pregnancy herbally than doing it with man-made drugs. So just wise up and do this the surefire & reliable way with pharmaceuticals.
