I might as well be invisible

He never notice how nice i look.. only the 1st time we met. He told me i look good and that i look after myself.. we i go to see him.. i look my best.. but he doesn’t say i look good or anything... WHY IS THAT? I feel like he doesn’t like how i look and stuff.. the other day i said he look nice and smelt nice and he said i always look nice and smell nice..only cos i said he look nice.. but i would like it if he could tell me when i look nice... cos i don’t like it.. i feel like he doesn’t notice me at all. wen i dress really really nice for HIM...!! am i been stupid or what do you think?? when he looks at me looking all nice.. he starts asking me if guys was looking at me when i was coming!! did they chat me up!!

Kepi agony auntUs guys have a different mindset, unfortunately :) when we say something we feel that this statement is true until we say differently, so words like 'I love you' or 'you look nice' are true until we say otherwise :)

However, for women its different, you constantly seek affirmation of feelings (this is not a critiscm) so you need to educate your boyfriend (gently) that you like it when he pays you compliments, encourage him to with rewards ( a little peck on the cheek and a thank you works wonders :) )

If you show him that bit of tenderness then maybe he'll get over the insecurity of asking such questions and start to feel proud of having a g/f that other guys are jealous of him having!
