Perhaps when you sing to start off concentrate on one specific thing...such as tone of voice maybe, and then as you relax into the song stop worrying and just go for it.

In this kind of situation the best thing you can do is to be yourself, nerves hit us all some are just a lot better at covering it than others, dont let it wreck your chances there are methods that can help you through this normality. I once had to do a speech and (although not the same thing!) somebody told me to forget about everyone and everything and be in my own zone, how you would normally be if you were on your own. If its the audience that can be the problem then imagine them on the toliet! I know its not the best way to do things and you should remain focused but you cant let nevrves hold you back. If your on a show then there should be singing coaches helping with the tone etc of your voice, if not why not inquire about seperate singing lessons? see a professional and they can give you the best methods.Youve got this far so keep it up! Whatever your doing ust be good as youve already achieved a lot!Best of luck for your future, :)
