He was so nice so sweet, I felt for him and he told me he loved me everyday. But then he broke up with me saying he didn't want a relationship anymore. Then I found out he was cheating on me all the while we were together. I was so nice to him, never cheated or hurt him. I respected him. He wanted us to be friends.. Then said he can't love me again cos I have a split personality. After 3 months he emails me asking if he could meet me to say hello. Why would he hurt me so bad? I was nothing but a good girl to him I was loyal I loved him so much even his friends all wanted a girl like me.Why does he want to remain friends? He's hurt me so much I feel so numb and empty. I feel so stupid for falling for a liar and a cheat.:(

I'm guessing that you and he had a great s*xual aspect to your relationship. Am I correct?
If "yes," then you can understand his disdain at having given that up..... and, by "staying friends," he can hold out hope (HIS hope!) that he might get you in to bed again.
Most women see right through this transparent ploy and tell the guy to take a hike. I hope you are one of them.
Good luck....
