I sort of want to... yeah, but I'd get in to trouble with my girlfriend if she knew I was even playing this!" But we did anyway. Today we all walked around with him again, we were all sitting in a tree (don't ask!) when Rhys looked all depressed so I went to him and said "Rhys are you ok? What the matter? Is it Lydia?" And he said no to me and then he said it was because this girl would never go out with him. He tried to make us guess who it was, we spent ages doing it and it all nailed down to me in the end and me and my mate both knew it... Then we realized it couldn't have been, but it was my BEST MATE!!! So the person I love fancies my best mate!It was bad enough as it is, because I was trying not to cry and in the end I just had to. I had a long chat with Megan and she says it's ok because she doesn't fancy him one little bit and I know she would never lie to me... But now she's being all nice to him and flirting and when I tell her about it she's completely oblivious to the whole thing! It really hurts me that I'm in such a position! Why is my mate flirting with him? I know for a fact she doesn't fancy him AT ALL!!! But the funniest thing was... when we where walking around the park he picked up this flower and until then he was both treating us the same. He started to pull the petals off of this flower one by one as if he was trying to made a decision. I think it was between me and Megan!!! And I really don't get why I sort of aren't being so nice to Rhys now... Maybe because it's just hard for me to be normal with him now because of how I feel?? I have been out with him before). Pleeeeese help!!! pleeeease

reader, anonymous, writes (11 March 2008): Awww...loves hard but you have to learn to deal with it. Perhaps you ought to see how this turns out and see whether he's going to ask you or your friend out. If its you then thats great! If its not -(sorry)...well you might need to try and get over him.
Or you could be the one in control and ask him out - that way you'll prob get an answer quicker.
About your friend flirting with him: I'd guess that she didn't fancy him but that she was flattered by the fact that he fancied her and that prob made her act different towards him...Just a guess!
I'd also guess that you won't be normal with him until he's made a decision of who he's going to ask out. When he either asks you out or asks someone else out then you will probably act normal again...
