 same thing happend to me i was with my ex for 3 and 1/2 years and our relationship kept going down hill seeing he was a skizomaniac his disease was just getting worse and i asked him to take meds and he refused so i started a new job and i met this guy and he ended up being like my soul mate he was my best friend at first and my boyfriend forbid it and told me i couldent see him but i told him no i was going to see him anyways he was my only friend(which he was at the time) and then it got more complex i started falling deeply for him and then we admitted to eachother we liked one another so i made a choice it took alot of guts considering i was with my ex 24/7 for 3 and 1/2 years he was my best friend but i sucked it up and belive me it hurt so much and i knew it would hurt him i told him i was leaving him(not for my current boyfriend) but just leaving him my current boyfriend and i left the province and now we are as happy as can be (in certain aspects) my ex took awile to get over me and hates me for leaving him for my current boyfriend (this is after he found out i was seeing him) my advice is if you arent happy with the boyfriend leave and make yourself happy why keep being unhappy when your happy with someone else?
