writes:I need help! Am in love but does she love me?. I am 43 and I have a friend who is 26. She needed somewhere to stay last September and she stayed w/ me for 4 mos. It was hard, and we never slept together, but we remained close and great friends. She is now back in my life, and she appears to be interested more than before, yet i don't know. when we see each other, she is happy to be with me, touching my arm often, laughing and bringing up every little fun thing that we used to do last Sept thru December. She told me last night she would meet me for coffee (her idea) and then we ended up having a casual dinner. she told me she hung out w a friend from College, and was happy about it. I told her well great, maybe you'll move in and things will develop. she said she didn't like him that way, and that she wants to date someone more mature who will take her out to dinner etc...I am CONFUSED!! I am secretly in love w/ her, and at dinner, she told me she'd never met anyone like me in her life, and how she never gets bored of being with me, and how much fun we have. She seems to have changed, and seems to be interested, but what do i do? I told her last October over drinks that i loved her and wanted her, but she was like, i don't see you that way...yet, the other day she was like, "you look good, REALLY good"...(i've been in the gym the last 2 mos and have changed quite a bit)....anyhow, she does say i love you friend..alot, yet the signals indicated otherwise....sorry about the long post, but what do i do? forget her and move on? am i wasting time? does she have feelings beyond friendship? (i sense yes, but don't quite know) btw, she's scorpio, i'm sagthank you all for your patience!!!be blessed!:)

Here is something revolutionary...ASK HER! Dear Lord, I have never heard anyone trying to read between the lines more. If you have no idea what her deal is, just ask her. I am a scorpio myself and my guy is a sagitarrius...so I know the dynamic. Scorpios like to have "fun" with their partners or potential partners...but if asked directly, a scorpio will respond with the truth.
One thing you shouldn't do is assume anything because you will create entire scenarios in your mind in which she loves you, etc. and she will take you for a ride. Get clarity and proceed accordingly.

I think she's soothing her self esteem.Tread carefully, no one wants to be filling in where some other man has left unfilled.
