writes: Hello everyone! I have a strange , very frustrating problem. So there is this girl, one year older then me, (btw, next year we will probably be in the same class) and ahe has a boyfriend. But the boyfriend acts seriously wierd! I see them quite often(she is a friend of mine, i dont realy know him) and she is constantly trying to get his attention, kissing him touching everything. And he just is... Completely uninterested. As if he doesnt want her. One time, she had been ill for 4 days, and finally saw him again, she immedeatly hugged him and he was looking over her shoulder , yawning, looking extremely uninterested. When she was confronted bou this by my best female friend, she closed off and completely evaded it. She also does not seem to be very interested in him, she is the kind of person that just likes to give and recieve lots of attention, hugging etc. When he is not around she often hugs me, and she is always seeking me, wanting to talk to me and everything. Im in our schools theater - technician group(which is btw very different from the stereotype at our school we are normal or even quite popular) and all of a sudden, she wants to join too, while she doesnt know the difference between jack and xlr :) when i asked why she wanted to join she said it seemed fun to her, and she could offer "moral support"Her friend is now 18 btw, im 15 and she is 16.And i realy like her. Im holding back my feelings, which is very hard, but i love her. Its also very hard when she hugs me etc, cause i cant realy dare react to it and thus often remain still, which she does not realy like..I realy hope someone can analyze the situation a bit and help me... I want her 0=) and i totaly have a feeling she wants me too. Sorry for bad grammer! First language is dutch, lots of what i said is probably lost in translation :(

Awww I definately feel for you in this situation. Unfortunately with girls & even woman is that we tend to go for the guy that we think we can change. In a way, she is clearly attracted to him with all the public affections that she displays & she likes you because you are nothing like her boyfriend. You are considerate, nice and will always be there for her and I'm sure she realises that. Have you talked to her about how you feel? You never know, she may in fact feel the same way. She is wanting to join the school theatre maybe to get closer to you.
I know it is never easy to make the first move, but you will never know if you don't talk to her.
Good Luck :-)
