writes: i have a problem which has been troubling me for a long time, about 3 years. i have no problem having sex, but there are many, and i mean many, occasions where i lost my erection while trying to penetrate, the moment i went in i would slowly lose it, but then i would be able to get it back up after more tries, mostly the second time i try it i would be able to complete the intercourse, unless i drink a lot.is this normal? or anxiety? what if this happens for the rest of my life, i want to always be able to get in and last for the whole intercourse everytime i do it. any advice will be appreciated

reader, anonymous, writes (29 August 2007): thanks for replying beautifultrustnloverthe thing is most times i am able to do it after losing the erection, because i would be able to get it up again, sometimes it becomes rock hard sometimes it is half erected though still able to penetrate and complete the course, does this means everything is ok? there are just some times when it really dont want to get up at all, but i would say most times it is able to get up again after going down, sometimes it takes awhile sometimes it takes longer, i know this is most probably mental but i dont know what i can do to help it, i want to have perfect sex, because thats the only way i feel normalmy definition of perfect sex is not to lose an erection during intercourse, because everytime i have sex, even if i lose the erection just once, i would be very stressed, and i do also know that will prevent me from performing well the next time but i cant help it i am going crazyplease tell me it is normal not to be able to always penetrate and complete the intercourse in 1 attempti am really confused i dont know what is good and what is bad sex, i didnt used to bother about all these years ago... any advice will be appreciated thanks!

you need to relax it may be all in your head try going it using your head not your brain next time and take it slow and see what happends if that doesnt work than come back for more advise i think you may be having anxiety which means your not real relaxed
