But the thing is I was in a four year relationship with alot of problems..so I broke it off with my boyfriend at the time to be with this guy. Him and I dated for two months everything was great .. for my bday he took me to the Poconos .. he was understanding sweet .. everything I could want in a guy BUT the thing is I was still in love with my boyfriend or so I thought and couldn't see the man of my dreams for he was until later.. I decided because I was with my boyfriend for so long that I would break it off with the man of my dreams and go back to my boyfriend and try to make it work with him.. six months later my boyfriend and I broke officially .. I have been single for a really long time and happy I might add.. the other day my dad brought home the wedding cd from cousins wedding that I have never seen and I saw the man of dreams in it and all these memories came flooding back .. I call him the man of my dreams cause he really was he really really was .. we had the best time together .. he cared about me.. I felt compelled after seeing him on the cd to write him a message on facebook. lol I knew he had a page so I just wrote... I said how sorry I was for letting him go and whom ever he is with right now their extremely lucky to have him.. something along those lines.. the thing is I know he read the message cause he changed his default picture from his car to him standing in front of the Eiffel tower .. he probably in Paris right now ..I don't what to do ..will he write me back? I feel regret every time I think about him .. I know me writing him was is alot crazy cause its been a year now since we have spoken .. but I do not regret doing it because i would hate to let another day go by without him knowing how I felt .. but what do i do if he doesn't respond ? .. I'm really pulling my hair out please help

reader, anonymous, writes (13 January 2009): you tried and told him how you felt, there's nothing more you can do but you did it and I think that's good. Most people never tell that person how they truly feel and if it's meant to be it will happen, don't feel bad or worried, let fate take it's course, good luck!

 Well if he doesnt respond then you may have to face that you really hurt him when you went back to your ex and he cant forgive you for that.
There is a saying, women forgive but never forget and men forget but never forgive. This has been so true for me in my life; I left the man of my dreams because I thought the grass was greener on the other side and after three years of trying to get him back he still cant forgive me for what I did to him.
If you are not ready to accept you have lost him for good (like me!) then keep trying, if you have his phone number send him a text or give him a call. Dont send too many messages (on facebook or texts) as you will scare him off. Try finding out where he normally hangs out (if he still lives near you) and start going out there with your friends to try and bump into him.
But if he wont respond and he lives too far away etc then it might be that its not meant to be. I've ended up hoping that one day fate might bring me and my ex back together as I know 100% that if there is one person for me, then its him. I just keep on believing that one day things will work out....thats all you can do.
