They are now recently dating (just this week)but he is going off to med school in 2 weeks and she is flying back home soon. My problem is, i like him and it hurts to see him touching her, holding hands, giving her so much attention when secretly, thats what i want. Ive now stopped going to work parties to avoid them but they are always around me at work. He obviously doesnt seem to care about me :( I really liked him..How do I move on and mend my broken heart?

reader, anonymous, writes (2 August 2008): To be honest I really don't think this is a problem with him...I think it is a problem with your confidence....So what if he has gone off with someone else and perhaps are rubbing it in your face....you need to show them that you really don't care about that...we all want to be held and loved and touched and kissed...but sometimes we can't always get what we want...I know you say you really like him but he likes someone else now so move on...trust me..you'll laugh about this in a little while...I was in a situation just like it..now I ask myself what the heck was I thinking!!!
So get your confidence back, go on a shopping spree and buy something for an upcoming staff do..not to make him jealous and to look at you and go wow she's hot why didn't I get with her....NO - this outfit is for you....so you can show the world how hot and confident you are...that you don't need any man to fulfill your needs as a woman...how corny does that sound?!?! but I'm serious!!!! Go out there and strutt your stuff with confidence! xxxx
