reader, anonymous, writes (21 February 2007): I'm sure you are a great person, but consider this: If he is anywhere close to your age, he is probably notfalling hard for either of you.I doubt he even once told his friends how much he likes you, or this other girl. He's most likely telling them how he "pulled" both of you in one night. I can only warn you not to through the word "love" around too loosly. I promise you it will mean so much more when it's for the right reasons. Even if you did go out with him for a while, how long would it be before he went for someone new? And if you are using the word "pulled", I can guarantee you are not ready to be having sex in the first place. I am not a prude or anything, I am only 24 myself, but I know now that I would have regretted it now. Don't sell yourself short.

First of all if you want to have a relationship with any guy you must learn that you can't have sex too soon! Make a guy respect you by focusing on getting to know you, caring for you, etc. without the sex. If you don't he will leave you and find another girl for a love relationship. When all a guy wants is sex from a girl he will go for it early on and then leave when he gets it.

 First of all you don't love this boy, you can't possibly love him knowing him so short a time. Secondly, you shouldn't have been so "easy" letting him touch you so intimately so quickly. Have some respect for yourself! He probably preferred your friend because she DIDN'T let him do anything like that so the challenge is still there with her!
Learn some morals and you'll be able to hold on to a boy longer!
