writes: Hi there, ok so I am 15 and have been talking to a guy over the net for around 2 years. we have so much in common and have got on really well as friends but recently we have got really strong feelings for each other. he is a really down to earth guy and even though we live a little apart we both really want to make a go of it. only problem is our age gap......it doesnt bother either of us as we do really care for eac hother, however i am worried what other people may think. a lot girls my age date guys a few years older its just i would hate other people looking on our relationship like it is wrong. what do you think?thanksxxx

well i am 16 and my boyfriend is 19 if your talking about an age gap bigger than 4yrs if your 16 then i'd say not to have a go at it. maybe if you really liked this guy you could wait until your a little older

My boyfriend is older than me by 18 years an you would be surprised how accepting people are towards our relationship. The only thing that worries me about your question is that you havent mentioned whether or not you have actually met this guy if not how do you know he is who he says he is? If you havent met him before and are planning to, meet him in a public place and dont stray from that public place.
