 Once your at the party and abit into the night you could go over to her and strike up a conversation with her get to know the things she likes and enjoys doing seeing what interests you both share with possibly abit of light flirting and see how she reacts towards this.
I don't see why age would be a problem as alot of girls like older guys due to the maturity of them but remember she is only 14 therefore under the legal age for anything sexual to be happening between you both.
