 If she likes you too I think you should date her. It's good of you that you think about your sister's feelings in this and if things were to get wrong, just make sure you also have other friends to talk it through with, so you don't put your sister in a trap of loyalty. You'll be fine and your sister, I'm sure, wants you to be happy.

Well you should ask you sister if she would be ok with you going out with her roomate, or have one of your sisters friends ask the girl you like if she interested in you
