Girlfriends come and go, best mates are to be treasured. It is a simple question of getting your priorities right. You know the friendship with your mate works for you and the company is enjoyable. You might date his girl for a week or a month before working out you have nothing in common. Then you would be left with no girl and no mate. Focus on what you like about his girlfriend and look out for those qualities in another girl.
