A male United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

right 1 of my "friends" has this girlfriend and i like her. it bugs me more because he is a really bad boyfriend to her he moans that she texts him i mean wtf?

i'll admit that i'm jealous of him because i know that if she was with me she would get a much much better boyfriend. he isn't the best of friends either he only cares about himself and he only texts me if i'm going on xbox live while my other friends ask if i want to go somewhere or whatever.

anyway me and his girlfriend have been talking quite a lot online and we talk when we see each other as well. we both smile and wave at each other when she goes past on the bus every day and every time i say hi online she always replies hello with a smile or hello you with a smile.

she told me last night that she was stressed with work etc. and she had a blow out with her bf but by the end she kept sending messages with smiles at the end

what does this mean? is she falling for me? or is she just being nice?

I think it is really encouraging that she is communicating with you but why is she still with her boyfriend? Maybe they are closer than you think?

My current boyfriend was my ex-boyfriend's friend and that is how I met him. My ex didn't pay me much attention and during one period he spent a total of 55 mins with me in 5 weeks. I was used to it because really I wasn't that into him anyway. We hardly ever text each other but we did get on. Anyway one day he bought his friend around and I didn't think much of him but we got on. A few months later my ex and his friend met with me and I got talking to him and told him I didn't think it was going to last with my ex. After that we began chatting on the phone and texting each other everyday and night. My ex knew something was going on but in all honesty nothing was. Eventualy we ended up together. They are still friends of sorts but not as close. I'm still with my boyfriend and am grateful to my ex for bringing us together. My advice to you is don't push anything but be there for her as a friend. Don't disrespect your friend or his relationship. Let her come to you if that is what you both want. You might gain a girlfriend but you could end up losing a friend.
