Question - (19 December 2009) 1 Answers - (Newest, 20 December 2009)
A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I like this boy,he's a year older than me and i really like him,he's the only boy i have shown an interest in and [as silly as it sounds] he's the only boy i see myself with.Problem is, he has a girlfriend, and he sometimes seems happy with her,yet he has invited me everytime his band plays a gig,and his girlfriend is no where to be seen.Does this mean anything or is it just a friendly gesture? Should i try and find out or leave him and his girlfriend be and move on?

A female reader, Sincerely Yours United States +, writes (20 December 2009):

Sincerely Yours agony auntYou should always leave people in a relationship alone. They will figure it out. If he dumps her, go for it but if he doesn't, you just have to forget about it and try to move on because at that point, there's nothing you can do that wouldn't define you as a "homewrecker."

Don't take too deep a look at the invitations. You don't know that you're the only female friend he invited and you can't be so sure hs girl doesn't show up backstage or just have to work or babysit or has strict parents or can't handle loud music.
