Should i try and find out or leave him and his girlfriend be and move on?

You should always leave people in a relationship alone. They will figure it out. If he dumps her, go for it but if he doesn't, you just have to forget about it and try to move on because at that point, there's nothing you can do that wouldn't define you as a "homewrecker."
Don't take too deep a look at the invitations. You don't know that you're the only female friend he invited and you can't be so sure hs girl doesn't show up backstage or just have to work or babysit or has strict parents or can't handle loud music.
