so i think that you need to take a look hard look inside yourself and wonder if you actually love him
once your sure things should get better :)

The root of your problem could be that you are not sure of this guy and you only let your true feelings out when you are not with him.
This is a normal thing though and you should not feel bad for your actions.. Individuals do similiar things to block out unwanted feelings.
Maybe it is a fear of getting hurt?
I sympathise with you as this can be a distressing time and I hope you will find happiness once you figure out why this is happening.
I wonder if you had a bad relationship in the past, maybe you were cheated on. and you have a fear of this happening again??

 Maybe you like the IDEA of a boyfriend better than you like the actuality of one?
After all, in a person's fantasies, a boyfriend is attentive, romantic and devoted, bringing posies and expressing the depth of their love. In reality though, boyfriends are human, and have all the usual human failings, like mood swings, inexperience and conflicting priorities.
Might be a good time for you to do some introspection and ask yourself if it's fair to your boyfriend that you don't actually care that much if he's around.
