writes:HiI really need some advice. There’s a guy I like at work but he doesn’t know me. We work in different departments. Last week I attended a xmas party and he was there too. I wanted to speak to him but I just didn’t have the confidence to approach him.At work I look so plain looking and I made an effort with my appearance. I want to get to know him. I was thinking to add him on Facebook and message him. I could message him and pretend I added him on Facebook by mistake. I could ask him if he works at the same company as me as he looks familiar. Also I’m leaving my current job in two weeks so I don’t have enough time to make a good impression.Please help, I like this guy and I want to get to know him but don’t know how. Any suggestions.Thanks

Also, what have you got to lose if you are leaving the company soon, if things go wrong you never have to see him again. You always regret the things you don't do in life more than the things you do :)

Trust me. speak to him in person. I was in this situation a few days ago. I had a class with this beautiful girl tht I jus could not seem to chat up. Then I approached her and she was very accepting and we had a great talk! Dnt let ur fear defeat u. Be strong! Go up to him and say "hi im ... And I think I saw u at the christmas party the other day". We guys r jus as afraid of u as u r to us. Have no fearand have funnnn
