I think you should totally go for it if you really like this guy. But don't do it now if it's "against the law" because he's younger. lol
Wait until next month when it's ok.
And it also depends on how you feel about your current relationship. If you aren't happy with who you're with right now and think things would be better with this guy at work, then break things off and go for it.
As for the parental units, try to show them that your not a terrible person just because your a few years older. Parents just worry, that's all. I hope everything works out great.
