i have a friend at work who i like alot but there are a few problems. first he's 17(will be 18 next month) and i'm 20. second i'm in a relationship. and third his parents don't want us to be friends at all because of the age. i really like him and i don't know what to do help.

And it also depends on how you feel about your current relationship. If you aren't happy with who you're with right now and think things would be better with this guy at work, then break things off and go for it.

As for the parental units, try to show them that your not a terrible person just because your a few years older. Parents just worry, that's all. I hope everything works out great.
