writes:I know a guy who i have been good friends with for around 5 years, and i have just started to like him in the past few months. He often flirts with me now, and I flirt back, but he also flirts with other girls so I dont know if he means it or if its just in a friendly way. He often teases me in a joke sort of way and makes sarcastic comments about me. I dont know if he likes me in the same way as I like him, it's hard to tell because he is quite a flirt. He talks to me alot more now than he used to and sometimes hangs around with me and my mates instead of his mates.I just need advice on whether you think he actually likes me in the way I like him, or if he just likes me as a friend, Thanks

 If a guy gives you more attention than what is needed for just an ordinary friend,I mean, extraordinary attention,spends more time to be with you,prefers your company than anyone among his female friends, I bet he likes you. Just be patient,he isn't a shy type ( he is a flirt as you say), he'll propose to you if he really likes you. He can't hold it to himself forever. In the meantime,just enjoy his company. Who knows,he'll have the guts to tell you in his time.
