How do you know it won't work? Do you get around in a time-travelling De Lorean? No.
Don't leap before you look. Because you'd be surprised how many guys are better than your suppeosed standards even when they don't appear to be.

I lowered my standards and still live to regret it. They never rise up to yours and if you love them, you always want to keep a balance and end up having to meet them at their lowest standard.
