I know he still likes me, is he trying to make me jealous?

ive been with this guy for 4 days and we broke up he was the type that wasn't very popular...but now that he is he thinks he is all that...but we still talk and text as friends...and i know him well and i know that he still like me but he's too stuborn to admit it...somehow i feel like he is trying to make me jealous by telling me about his friends (girls)...what do i do?
