writes: hi i would like to ask, there is this guy i like that i study with. i have had a conversation with him and from that converstaion he told me that he likes me and he has guessed i like him too. a while went by and we didnt speak about that converstaion however the awkwardness was there. but a few days ago he tried to speak to me about it but we couldnt finish..i.e get to the part about our feelings because we were interupted! he is a shy guy when it comes to these things so i dnt know whether he will talk to me about it again if the opportunity has goen now as i wont see him for a couple of months and i dnt know whether i should message him saying we need to finish that conversation we were having or does that seem too desparate?! please help me as to what i should do next.

So you've already got over that first hurdle - you KNOW he likes you back!You need to take a bit of initiative, bring up the issues at hand. If you can't do it face to face, write him a letter.You know he;s not going to say no, so there's not much stopping you!

reader, anonymous, writes (15 December 2007): hey i had a similar problem so here is what i did: Go with him to the cinema or somwhere like that that you can walk to. Drop him a compliment and if he likes you he will compliment you back. Walk home together and keep talking to him. If nothing happens on the way home before one of you leaves say you had a great time and you should do it again and say you're really nice ect. and then if nothing happens do sometthing similar again and again until something happens.
