A female United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Hello:) im pretty new to this but here goes... and im 17 by the way...

Me an this boy lets call him james, well we use to be together around exactly a year ago. Well when we broke up we ended on really bad terms, our relationship wasnt perfect, now i look back i think i was probably quite a bitch to him. But anyway lately id been thinking of him again and i wanted to see him again, so the other night we ended up kissing and it was wonderful. We were talking about us getting together again, but the next day he just said he hadnt regretted it but it was just a bit of drunken fun. A year ago he would have rang me persistantly wanting to be with me but now i feel it's me, i havent rung him since and i dont think he knows i want him, i dont know wether to tell him!

To be honest he's nothing like me but i cant get him out of my head, should i leave it which seems almost impossible to do or tell him which could be extremely stupid?

Any answers would be much appreciated, i wish he was out of my head!

Cheers..

xxxxxx

Dr. John agony auntI think if you try to get back together with him you will just end up separating from him again.

There was obviously ample reason to separate before, what makes you think things have gotten any better? Doc
