camille agony auntI also have bad dreams and they're very realistic and leave me very distressed. Check your diet and keeping a food diary, it may be something you're eating/drinking. Trr to have a warm bath with calming oils before bed. Don't take any stimulants (caffeine, alcohol, nicotine etc). Drink warm milk. Put drops of lavendar oil on your pillow. Don't watch anything too emotional on TV just before you drift off, or listen to loud music. Don't read anything too heavy. Keep your bedroom airy, quiet and try to make the last 20 minutes before sleeping a quiet time.

fallenman agony auntI know this will sound strange but if you think about what's going on in your life at this time and then try and relate what your dream means, the nuclear bombs may be your mind using smybols to represent some issue you cannot resolve.

I think that you are now sub-consiously worried about having these dreams and therefor you are having them Are you sleeping/living in a different place now?

I dont know how extreem your problem is but when i was suffering from panick attacks i tried hypnotherapy and it really worked

Take care
