writes:My best friend told me that her 18 year old brother liked me, i liked him too, after a couple of weeks we slept with each other. I went to Spain and while i was away he got a girlfriend when i came back i found about this. He still kept coming onto me and i slept with him again, after this he has continue to cheat on his girlfriend with me. This has been going on for about 8 months on and off. i am now in love with David, but whereas before my best friend didnt like his girlfriend so egged me on now she has become really good friends with her, and i feel that if i carry on what im doing with David she is going to end up hating me. I love David so much but i cant carry on letting him cheat on his girlfriend its unfair and i could end up losing one of the most important people in my life, by best friend. Please help me i just want to be loved back from him but stil keep my best friend. I hate seeing him and his girlfriend together and its as if im just a replacement for when she isnt around, this is making me so unhappy.

 You're right to feel unhappy about this. This guy, however much you like him, is a slimeball. He's using you and he's using this other girl too. Your best friend feels stuck in the middle between you, his girlfriend and her own brother. Talk to her before you do anything so you can gauge her opinion on your plans but my advice would be to tell David that you're not willing to be his bit on the side anymore. You honestly are too good to be someone's second best and he's showing you that he doesn't love or respect you by carrying on sleeping with this other girl. By doing this you might spur him into dumping his girlfriend for you or he might decide that she is the important one and stay with her but whichever option he picks you get to keep your best friend which really is the most important thing.
