A male United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

A while back my best friend introduced me to his girlfriend. We instantly hit it off, and we've become close friends. But recently i've started to like her a hell of a lot as more than a friend.

I would never betray my friend. Both their friendships mean everything to me, I would never do anything to jeopardise them. I just need help getting over my feelings. Any suggestions would be really helpful.

angel of love agony auntI haven't been answering a lot of questions lately but your question just jumped out at me. I was in the same situation as well except I was the girl. My boyfriend introduced me to his homeboi and we totally hit it off. I found myself talking to him more and more, and out of no where I started liking him, the thing was that I liked him, but I loved my boyfriend. He told me that he liked me too. But we both decided that it was best to stay friends. He did everything from that point on to keep us together because he never had a serious relationship. But when we finally broke up he jumped at his chance. So basically my advice to you is to just ride it off. Your friendship is more important and it's best to just stay friends. Love is really tricky...but if you both feel the same way it'll play out in the end. If she's supposed to be with you then things will turn your way.

higo agony auntit's really serious...I would say that you really have to change your feelings...try to find a girl for you far from your friends..I think this is the onlyway to forget about her...try to think about your friend about the good moments you've had ...
