reader, anonymous, writes (20 September 2009): I'd talk to her and let her know that she's still very important to you (no reason to lose the best freind status), but that you and your GF are in a relationship and to please honnor that and stay away.If she's driven to pursue your GF, it's the same as a male "friend" doint that, and your response would be to cut that person out of your life. Painful, but if relationships can't be honoured then there's no freindship.

I think she said it because she feels comfortable enough with you to trust you with her personal likes. If you trust her and if she is a good friend- do nothing, she will respect your friendship. If you don't trust her then you should probably lay clear boundaries by asking her to stay clear of your gf. Don't mention your friends attraction to your gf-it might get to her head and make her tempted ;)

Shes not tried anything with her so theres no real issue here.
Its a flattering feeling when someone else finds your girlfriend or boyfriend attractive male or female, makes you feel lucky that this person is with you and many people would kill to be in your shoes.
Aslong as she doesnt do anything to come between you both then you have nothing to worry about.
Plus shes your best friend im sure she wouldnt do anything to hurt you, she seems like she was just being honest with you.
