I was going to ask her out ages ago, almost just after I met her, but then I found out she's already got a BF (the reason I hadn't heard about him is that he lives about an hour away and she only see him on weekends). They're really close and she stays at his place almost everyweekend. This made me really depressed when I found out, but then I thought I'd got over it.I've never had a proper relationship, other times I've tried have ended in disaster. eg I asked a girl out (a little while before I met K), this ended in a huge fallout, because she asked to think about it and then went and kissed two other guys on different occasions pratically infront of me. We've only just started talking again. There are some reasons though of why I'm sometimes not sure about her. One of my best mates also really liked her and he asked her out. She was, I thought, really mean to him. She didn't take him seriously until he got mad at her, then she just ignored him (from what I gather his experience with girls is only slightly better than mine). Now he hates her and I start feeling guilty for my feelings. Also she can be a bit self obsessed, going on about how 'beaut' she is.I don't know what to do, I think about her all the time (not in a sexual way though, which is different from other girls i've just fancied). I got angry when she talks about her BF and try to change the subject. I don't know what to do, I just feel like crap.

Also i don't 'follow her round like a puppy' i always make sure that i'm not being too clingy, in fact we mainly only see each other a couple of days a week (at sixth form but in none of the same classes, but we have two free's on thurs and fri)
just to go into more detail: she's the type of person who says love you alot (to friends as well) and we always say it when we see each other. i know she like me alot, i just don't think in that way. she was really upset this one day (about something unrelated) and she told me afters that i made her feel better, and that she loved me for this.

I think you need to cut yourself off from this girl for a while. She obviously has a pretty high opinion of herself and may love the fact that she has you following her round like a puppy.
Get some space and get your head together.
Good Luck!! xx
