A female United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Hiya everyone,

My partner usually calls 2-3 times a week, he doesnt like to text or email if at all possible.

but after i last saw him nearly two weeks ago, i havent heard anything from him.

ive emailed and texted to make sure he is alright and that nothing has happened but still no word?

The day after i last saw him, he was going far up country to visit his grandparents and aunt and uncle, i got the tickets for him the day before. so i knew he would be away for a while but i thought he might call or text to at least say he arrived safe, (theres been a lot of flooding around the country), but im really worried ive done something wrong.

you see i found out he had lied about something, nothing horrendous but it was something i thought he could trust me with (something weve been trying to work on), so i text and said i wasnt angry (which i wasnt) i just wanted to know why he felt he couldnt tell me? we are currently working on our relationship as it has had to become long distance for a little while.

so i dont know if this has angered him?

I know it could be a variety of reasons, its just there are so many ways to get in contact now.

I just want to know hes ok?

Sorry its a bit long!

oldbag agony auntHi

As he won't respond and your concerned, contact one of his family or friends just to ask that.i am sure they won't mind.

If he's fine then at least you will know its the relationship he's taking time out from.
