writes:hi im 16 and going 2 college in september and so is my boyfriend.do you think i should go 2 the same college as him or not? cos if we didnt then i would only see him about 2 or 3 times a week. if i did go 2 the same college as him i would see him nearly everyday.(my course is at both colleges so i just need 2 decide which college i want 2 go 2).what do you think? Your education is important and you will have to decide which one is best purely for educational purposes. You should go to the college where you feel you will excell the most (better teachers, etter facilities etc.) Its not like you wont see the guy for weeks at a time. If your bf really loves you he wont care about what college you go to- he'll respect that the decision you choose will bring you the better career options.

reader, anonymous, writes (27 April 2007): What you should do is choose the college that's right for your education. Which college offers a stronger program? Which is in an area you'd like to live in? Which has the best teaching staff, the best reputation, the better campus?
Do NOT make this decision based on your boyfriend. If your relationship is strong, you'll survive seeing one another 2-3 times per week. In fact, I think 2-3 times per week is the normal amount couples usually see one another when you're not in high school. Trust me, you'll live.
Choosing your boyfriend's college just because he goes there is a BAD idea. Do what is better for your EDUCATION. That's what college is for.
