Being pretty or not does not affect your period.
Go to your doctor to get checked out.
You need to build your self esteem, everyone is beautiful to the eyes of another. You just need need to meet this person.
Feeling miserable will not appeal to anyone, surely you do not want to meet a boyfriend that feels sorry for you.
I bet you have an inner beauty that it is asleep at the moment, what most boys like is a girl whom they can have a laugh with.
I am only 5.3 high and weigh 11 stone but I tell you what, when I am in a room I am larger than life, what I mean with that is being short does not make you small. YOU make you small. You need to embrace life and allow yourself to love you for what you are. Once happier within, people will want to be around you more.
How is your sense of humour?
Stay positive and concentrate on what you have to offer.
Good luck

My dear, I'm writing this from experience. I was just like you and still have problems in regulating my period and I'm 24. Basically, you are young, and have an irregular period. That is something caused by hormones. I suggest going to a doctor, and most probably he will give you pills to regulate your period. They help a lot and you won't miss a period I promise. They will help you get hormones in tact and even lose weight.
With regards to boyfriends, don't worry so much. I used to find it difficult to get a bf but now I'm married and expecting a baby by the end of this month! So don't worry girl, that time will come:)
Another thing, try to accept yourself, when you do that, people will accept you.
